If we want to be philosophical, most are things destroyed through fire, Pompeii for example. It was never renewed. It was forgotten. It only relates to plants. Alchemy: The alchemists gave a different meaning to INRI: Igne Natura Renovatur Integra, which is Latin for through fire nature is reborn whole, or, all nature will be renewed by fire.
