There’s a third reason and probably more. As a proud 2nd generation Greek American I am always curious about my date / partner’s ethnic heritage. I tend to be more attracted to ethnic women and having another nationality to identify with is valuable to me. I take pride in my heritage and I’m attracted to people who value theirs or at the least still have a connection to it.
