Gotcha. Everything supersonic always cycles. I’ve got a tricked out binary 22 charger that gets mag dumped and cheaper ammo. I’ve got an RAR that use better ammo for and practice precision. My role for the 10/22 is dispatching rodents and target plinking and my vision for it is as a suppressed daily driver to show off with friends. It’s the subsonic ammo that’s causing my frustration. The things is, I’ve had this rifle since 2011 and pretty much only the bolt, receiver and trigger housing is OEM. After I put on a new barrel and stock around 2020 it never hesitated to cycle subs, at least that what I remember. It just seems the last few years it’s gotten lazy with the subs. fawk.
