I work with justice involved individuals, the formerly incarcerated and sometimes in facilities so quite often my edc is in a lockbox attached under the seat to my locked truck. I can’t always carry but I can make sure I can always get to it if I need to. My instinct is that the use case which would affect me most is in a situation where I choose to behave defensively or protect. If I’m caught in a self-defense scenario where another is armed and I’m not, I’ll deal with it. If I live I live, if not then I’ll do better next life. Stay frosty folks. Do what you can.
