Welcome to the club, r/WetShaving has a ton of info and great community. Check their wiki beginners section for the rabbit hole but I can say I’m really happy with my Maggard razor, which is great quality and very affordable, the blades I use are Gillette Silver Blue. Likely your best move is to buy a kit initially that already has blades, soaps, brush and maybe a bowl. Otherwise research and make a call on the razor, I bought two before I was happy with mine. Order a variety pack of blades so that you try a bunch of different brands to determine which works best for you. Make a call on the different lather soaps you’re interested in and of course chooses a brush that piques your interest. Once you make the initial investment into your gear the blades themselves are super inexpensive, you’ll save a lot of money over the years switching to wet-shaving.
