If they dont want to use it for that, more money in grants for those that want to go to trade school. I would talk to other world leaders who have a functional Health Care system, and see how we could adopt something similar for the states. Then assemble a competent team who can get it done. With this, I would decriminalize sex work, and see to it that people with addictions have complete access to programs that would help them get off of drugs, and maintain a healthy, productive life. If our neighbors are healthy, it makes it easier for everyone to maintain. As far as the prison system goes, with funds saved from wasteful military spending, create programs for rehabilitation and education. Id do what I can to free every single person who is wrongfully there. Money to countries like Israel, would be severely cut. We can work with them. Not FOR their corrupt government. Any religious institution found harboring pedophiles, would have their tax exempt status revoked for 10 years. Along with that, ensure separation of church and state is actually happening. Any institutions found forcing any religious text in public schools, will have their tax exempt status revoked for 5 years.
