This has happened to me when my sexual interest was rejected by a woman over a long period of time. I would be spending time with her, sitting there with a hard-on, but no opportunity to use it. Eventually the erections go away. It’s called Conditioning.
I have experienced that. There’s an actual psychological term for it: Rejection Sensitivity. Another result is Atychiphobia – fear of failure. Both of these are real phenomena. You should take a break after a few rejections to allow your self esteem to recover. We men must somehow achieve a level of confidence (whether it’s real or not) that allows us to continue trying. Take some time before you resume the game.
