Be me renting a place for 1525 for a year and a half. Owner decides to sell building. New owners’ welcome letter to us was basically “hello, we are your new landlords. Rent will be increased $450/month for all units. Thank you.” And zero improvements were made. No rent cap laws here and nothing we could do but pay up or move out. 1975 a month it is… smmfh.
