Few months ago my son kept saying he had something in his ear and he couldn’t hear from it. I kept checking and never saw anything. He was in daycare so thought he was saying silly things since I never saw anything. He kept complaining so scheduled a doc appointment. They took some earwax out. Went home. Son complained more. I bought an ear cleaner with camera and had a look myself. Saw something in his left ear and touched it with the silicone tip and he winced. I got an irrigation syringe and used warm water and squirted in his ear and a fucking popcorn seed came out with a clump of old wax. It apparently was in his ear for nearly 8 months.
