I almost died from alcoholism at 20yrs old. I am now 16 years sober. You CAN quit. I still suffer medical issues caused from drinking(DGER- duodenogastric esophageal reflux) but almost fully healed. Hematomesis is gone, gastritis is gone, ulcers are gone. It takes time to heal from the abuse, but now is the best time to start if you haven’t yet.
