Those are Opiliones or Harvestmen. Not spiders and are more closely related to scorpions. They do not have fangs, do not have venom glands, do not make silk, and are scavengers. When people think they are being bit, they are being plucked of their dead skin by the little claws of the Harvestman. Sometimes they get carried away and don’t pick dead skin.
