So I work for a landscaping/construction company and we are in an industrial area that has stray “junkyard” cats that wander from company yard to company yard. Not necessarily feral, but not trusting of humans. Well two days ago my coworker sent me a picture of this little one in our office. I asked who’s it was and he said they were in the vents and came out. Our office is a double wide trailer turned to a permanent office structure that has forced air heating and air ducts, as well as an access point for the crawlspace area. I live in Alaska and winter is coming so the mother took the kittens under the trailer via the access point that had the grate removed(probably by her). Somehow they found a way to get into the heating ducts and I guess smelled food or were just exploring, but the floor vents in a few rooms were lifted up and in two rooms kittens were there. One was about 2 months and got taken almost immediately by one of the office peoples friends. The one I took was a bit harder to catch but I get a text near the the end of the day that they caught the tiny one and I immediately clocked out and went home with her. The mother is still not caught.
