I felt the same way so here’s my advice to get past it. First, think about what kind of island theme you want. I decided to do a state park theme so I thought about all the things you might find in one our state parks here in Indiana and I started creating them. I didn’t do a lot of terraforming but since I’m not super creative I started looking on Pinterest and reddit for ideas of the things I wanted to create. You don’t have to do a lot of terraforming to have a nice island. Some people are way extreme with it and if that’s what they like then that’s great but it’s your island, you make it feel how you want and there’s no rush to finish. Matter of fact, taking your time can be a benefit since once you’re done it might be easy to lose interest. But Pinterest and reddit search are your friend, you don’t have to be all creative and master terraforming, you just need to have fun.
