Why should we care? Commodities farmers aren’t all that important to domestic food supply. They themselves keep saying all of their markets were foreign or the government. Their products weren’t part of the American food supply. Why should we continue to support their welfare lifestyle? The farmers have been dependent on welfare for almost a century. They don’t even have a family memory of supporting themselves. It’s all welfare.
