I don’t care to answer. It’s quite obvious that you are going to play a game of semantics. You aren’t interested in learning. I suspect that you know that you’re providing cover for a party that welcomes racists. I’m not going to put in the time to put together a detailed report for a stranger who isn’t engaged in honest discussion. But I’ll give you an example from memory. Back in 1988, I was in high school and following the Bush Dukakis campaign closely. I’d read the stories in the daily paper and watch the evening news if I wasn’t working or playing in a basketball game. So, I usually caught three broadcasts a week. An “independent” pac ran an ad called Weekend Passes about Willie Horton, a murderer who was released for a weekend furlough, and he raped a woman. The Bush campaign liked this so much they released one of their own called Revolving Doors. In 1988, people understood that the ad was saying Bush would crack down on people for being black. The students and teachers who were either openly or very thinly veiled racists loved the ad and talked about Bush keeping the ××××××× in their place. And it worked. Bush lied and said that it wasn’t meant to be racist but we all knew he was lying. He wasn’t any more believable than Trump. I was too young to vote for Dukakis, but I would have. It was the last election I didn’t vote in. I hope I genuinely hope that people who vote for Republicans will learn their lesson. It’s a tragedy that conservatives can’t understand why Republicans enact policies that hurt them. I’ve expended more effort and time than you deserve. I’ll block you, but feel free to respond. I’d expect it to be some bullshit about the Willie Horton ad not being racist.
