There are a lot of pop rock classics that are covers of songs originally made by Afro American musicians from the 50s and early 60s. Most fans ( myself included ) have no idea of the existence of the originals.

Interesting. I knew of Starbuck’s for a long, but only became ware of the existence of Peet’s a few years ago.
Assuming that beer bellys are actually more common among 25 year olds my guess would be the usual suspects: less exercise, more screen time processed food drinking cannabis
