it costs about $40-50 to park in the city, near the ballpark last time i checked. if its a mobility thing or you can afford it: by all means, go for it. taking the commuter rail in is the easiest and cheapest thing to do. depending on the game/day of the week, youll have to keep an eye on the schedule to make sure you dont miss the last train home. providence/stoughton line will take you to back bay station and from there you can walk to fenway in like 30 minutes. or walk 10 min north from back bay to take the green line from copley to kenmore. first thing i do at the ballpark, every time: i take a deep breath. i smell the smells, i hear the sounds, and i make a bee-line for a view of the field. i recommend you just drink it all in and enjoy the game. congrats in your first fenway experience, i hope you get great weather and have a lovely view of the action from your seat. eat some peanuts for me!
