In November ’24, it kinda looked like they owned the city. Story’s changed a bit since then, so now we’re back on the victimhood train. They were on it then, too — don’t get me wrong — but now I believe Landon is 0-for-his-last-12 on picking candidates, and they haven’t laid even a single beam of wood or sheetrock on that shelter (10 months after Mattie tore her ACL bending back her knee to them) … so the victimhood narrative is back en vogue. What I guess I never get about them is their guy is in the White House, they have the courts (esp. around here), they have three major county officials, they have Mattie to some extent, they have a bunch of cops in that congregation, they have a State Rep as a senior pastor… and yet they’re always “being persecuted.” How?
