Liberals can’t govern. My wife has a friend, she’s married to a dude whose mom dated a Congressman. Guy from near San Antonio. The friend’s husband tells me all the time that the ex-Congressman would tell him, “Parties don’t matter, really. Once you’re in there, we’re all on the take.” That’s the prism through which I think I’ve come to view federal government. Local is a little different.
