That’s is interesting! I can clearly remember flying spaceships and driving like race cars and stuff (I was a little boy at one time, and I can’t say I’ve exactly grown up yet, lol), but now that you mentioned it, I don’t think I ever actually controlled them. It would be like a zoomed out video game view. And you could be on to something about the clock not being stressful or jarring. I made a comment to someone else that I can only recognize I’m dreaming when it’s nightmares, but I think that’s because I was a young impressionable kid and believed my parents when they said that my dreams weren’t real and couldn’t hurt me. I learned as a child I could wake myself up from nightmares, and I think I just got a shoe in to the lucid dreaming stuff. It is very rare now for me to do it. Probably been a few years since I noticed I was in a dream. But I don’t really have outlandish nightmares any more like I did as a kid with monsters chasing me or whatever.
