They will never, ever do that. Not in a million years. That would blow up their consolidation of power. What they really want is for Trump to die off so they can somehow seamlessly take over his base and leverage the same power Trump currently has. They cant do that if they turn on him now. Whether or not they can do it when that happens, remains to be seen. So they will keep sucking up to him while also crossing their fingers that the day is near.
