Yet it is the only point you return back to, as if that ever has been my argument No Im pretty sure Ive also gone back to his sexual assault and his belief that he is above the law as well, which you also evidently dont want to discuss. I understand why. Or the bit about sending people who havent been convicted of any crimes to a foreign torture prison outside of US jurisdiction. These things dont make Trump an ass, and your downplaying of the severity of these issues is very telling. And i am no expert on USian law, but your understanding of “Due process” seems to be lacking. It isnt. All peoples, whether citizen or not, are guaranteed due process in the US. Due process is whats necessary to ensure legal residents and US citizens are not mistakenly/illegally deported; that everyone has the right to defend themselves against accusations from the government in a fair manner. That isnt happening under Trump, even though it is the law of the land. Are you aware how many points you have risen, that have literally nothing to do with your statement?  What do you mean? I said there was no comparison between both sides. You said I was comparing beliefs vs a persons conduct, which was a fair assessment; so I listed a more comprehensive comparison and now you dont want to talk about any of the comparisons I drew.  Finally Ill just clarify that Centrism is a foolish position, for many reasons, but one being because the Overton window is always shifting – in modern times shifting to the right. Which means centrism is shifting to the right. For many issues we face today, there is no middle ground. There is no middle ground position on how many felonies a president should have, or how much sexual assault is acceptable, or how many laws they are allowed to break as president. Hypothetically, If the left says the president should have zero rapes, and the right says 10 rapes is ok, is your centrist position that both sides should compromise on 5 rapes? Thats why you look ridiculous.  when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.
