To add what others said, about a week or two ago trumpy was getting called out for not even knowing what he’s signing, which he clearly doesn’t, and that the Heritage Foundation is just handing him pre-written legislation for him to rubber stamp, which they clearly are. So they decided to give the autopen thing that no one cared about from months ago another shot, guy at the gas station I go to brought it up right at the same time about a week ago – I was like wow they must really be pushing that bullshit hard. I told him that presidents have used autopen for decades, trumpy already tried that shit months ago – and he was like nooo they haven’t! while I rolled my eyes. Then the Epstein thing completely blew up, and apparently there’s still some people out there trying to get the autopen thing to stick. It’s hilarious.
