There’s some great stuff on that side though, shouldn’t be scared. The casino and strip clubs, sure (used to also be where you’d go for legal weed), but there’s a bunch of great places on that side if you look around. Lot of rough spots, but I’ve honestly seen way worse in places like The Ville (mostly cause of brick thieves), which would be the neighborhood to the right a bit of the Arch in this photo. One thing I found out not long ago is there’s an RV park behind the casino, it’s really cheap. So out of towners drive there and park, and then it’s an easy Uber (or even a walk across the bridge if you’re up for it, it’s actually a nice walkway, just over a mile walk) to a Cards game, the Arch, whatever.
