Similar vein: virtually every true Republican I know has no faith in Bo French or most of the county “leadership.” They know one decent candidate who’s slightly left of center, or slightly right of center but believes 1-2 liberal things, can win here pretty easily.

Yea, no lies detected here. I get it about the kids. I know two people that knew him, and years years years ago I dated a girl briefly who worked for Tucker. What makes me sad is that both these guys are essentially characters. They made good money and got access to corridors of power for playing that character, but Tucker IRL/with his family isn’t the Tucker you knew on FOX. Believe it’s the same with Charlie. No one should be executed in broad daylight, period, full stop, but … it makes me sad that someone would die for essentially playing a character on YouTube. Good news on the kids is they should be set up for life, so that eases some of the hardship involved. (Some. Not much.)

Guns are 1, and I’d say 1A is a lot of people don’t feel connected to anything or like they belong. Many people have guns and like, they have kids, or a chance at a house, or some hobbies they like — and in those settings, guns aren’t as big a problem. (Still can be.) Guns + untethered from societal norms is, uh, really bad. They work in concert.
