Similar vein: virtually every true Republican I know has no faith in Bo French or most of the county “leadership.” They know one decent candidate who’s slightly left of center, or slightly right of center but believes 1-2 liberal things, can win here pretty easily.

The death was very bad. But that’s a separate issue. No one deserves to die in such a way. As for the left owning culture, Kamala got crushed about eight-nine months ago. Most leftist attempts at memes and discourse are mocked. Mamdani might soon be their main guy, and he’s not even “left.” So no, just because a few nurses at Cook’s maybe put black squares on their IG, I absolutely don’t think the left “created” or “shaped” culture.
