Hey folks, newbie crypto and wsb kids talking to you. Precious metals are not investments, daily movements on the charts are basically irrelevant. Gold and silver are hedges against inflation and a store of value, while they can be it’s most practical not to look at them in the same light as crypto and stocks. Buy what you can with money that you ideally won’t be needing in the next few years. Settle in and let the the economy do what it will, chances are you’re going to see your gold become more valuable, or more specifically the dollar become less. Either way, fuck the charts and the day to day activity.

Learned this the hard way (years ago) using ultrasonic on mine. SiCo has agreed to re-cerakote my Sparrow if I send it in. At this point it’s purely cosmetic though, if I ever need to send it in for something functional I’ll add it to the job.

Oh I agree on they likely have that info, I mean Palantir alone can parse the database using NICS and make it really simple, likely already has. I just don’t think family pics whether pms or firearms are wise as it’s just too easy at that point to know a person’s valuables. In many ways it’s the companies, private orgs and small government entities that are most concerning. Individual at any of those can abuse the information, when My Pillow and local Sheriff’s are sharing your details to deputized militia, well that’s gonna suck. It’s already happening.

Honestly my guess is if you can’t make it through Revelation Space you’re gonna have a rough time with Alien Clay as it’s light on action and range of characters while deeply descriptive of the environment and situation. I’d look into Children of Time and the Final Architecture series, as well as Cage of Souls and Service Model if you’re new to AT.
