Hey I was looking at my cuttings and realize that their tops are already calloused (see post pic) from the original cuttings I took 8 weeks ago. Would it be okay to plant the 8 week calloused cutting side now rather than wait for the fresh cut to callous?

I’ve tried Spenco and Superfeet and a few other brands. Orthotics are the only way to go, all other insoles are comparatively trash. I still have the last pair of Superfeet that I bought, they’re in my steel toe boots I only use when chopping wood. If I had to spend any real time walking in them I’d use proper orthos. Superfeert are incredibly inferior and they’re disposable. Grow up kids, invest in your feet, posture and knees. You only live once.

The Final Architecture by Adrian Tchaikovsky, especially if craving more space opera. Children of Time and Dogs of War, both fantastic series also by AT. Almost everything by AT is great, so many original concepts and ideas, the guy is prolific af. Revelation Space by Alaistar Reynolds, The Culture by Ian Banks are both amazing with numerous books. Hyperion and A Fire Upon the Deep, some older but solid series. Red Rising if you’re into it, kinda YA.

I get that for sure, this is the replacement (this year) so seeing if I can extend the life of it. I’m stoked the guard took the damage and not the handle, it did it’s job well. I’m no fancy pants and like my tools used, just wanting to maximize the protection before needing a new one.

I believe the results are more firearm specific, for example my GP100 has almost no recoil running 38s and not much in .357. Using an airlight version and the recoil is definitely felt. You’re gonna get the same thing in 9mm with semi-autos, the lighter smaller ones are snappy.
