Theres other communities that fit the bill better. Im not trying to gate-keep but it does frustrate me.

Wakazashi make more sense (at this stage) than katana, and yes getting to practice / play on the Pedro’s has been insightful and fun. I’ll be honest, I’m also a prepper so getting to use my tools for practical purposes triggers dopamine hits for me, which is nice.

Exactly the reason why any automatic rice cooker, coffee or bread maker is NOT bifl. Electronic cooking / prep gear by nature is not gonna last your lifetime or the next generation’s. BIFL rice cookers are what we’ve been making rice with the generations before electricity, a pot.

I honestly never heard of or knew BS or CK or the vast majority these influencers yet seeing them daily on Reddit has given them our my (our) attention.
