I keep twine and paracord in my kit. I have winch on my truck and have separate bag of towing gear; ropes, snatch block, etc. My kit has a tarp among other items which can be used with rope sun shade or tenting. The strategy of my kit is giving me options to either stay in place or pack some of it in a backpack and hike away from the vehicle.

‍️I realized I am Fudd a few years ago when I looked at my tacticool 1100 and said wtf did I do. Its my first firearm and was fathers before mine. I took the beautiful wood furniture and sold it eBay to fund my upgrade, this was in 2012. It started haunting and taunting me in 2019 and a few years ago bought some wood furniture and restored it to its former glory. Its beautiful. And now I cannot stand space cowboy levers, downvote them every time. Especially if someone is swapping wood for tacticool, grinds my gears.

Yes I’m weighing out possibilities and how much to prepare. Mine is in a small city and I’ve recently had my knee replaced, not that mobile. I’m planning to put an armor plate in my backpack, I’m debating whether to carry my ccw or leave it locked in the vehicle (primarily protection against counter-protestors), debating whether to wear or pack a battle helmet. Planning to bring two first aid StB kits.

Dude buy a base 10/22 and upgrade to your specs. I dont think thats worth it. I have a GB chassis on my 22 charger and while its solid and looks dope af, their products are overpriced and theyre kind of a shit company as far as CS and communication.
