I think theyre releasing these people because it was never really about arresting them and removing them from society. Theyre doing it because they know theyve sent a warning to anyone & everyone who would publicly stand up against this regime. It wont scare everyone, probably not even 10%. But it will make people think twice about protesting or especially being a leader.

I dont know that I could pick a favorite Trek. They all make me so happy to watch. Every character is interesting and they give them so much depth. If I had one complaint about Discovery it was we didnt get to learn more about some of the side characters but they did try and I appreciate the effort they made. Its tough when you only get 10-15 episodes a season to tell a story, you have to move the plot. I hope we get to see some of them again in Starfleet Academy so we can learn more.

It wasnt just laziness. While I agree they shouldve gone out and voted there is nuance. Some felt like they didnt get a choice because there wasnt a primary after Biden stepped down. Others felt like Gaza was fucked either way and were too blind to see how much worse Trump would be. Still others didnt feel represented by either party because there wasnt anything substantial that would help them in either platform. Ive talked to these people. So while I strongly disagree with them I can empathize. Hopefully if we have free & fair elections again more people will see how dire the situation has become. Edit:grammar

Krystal & Kyle are not calling everyone who voted Trump a fascist. That was a total straw man from Cenk (like most of his arguments). What they were saying is, if you still support Trump after everything that has happened so far, ie kidnappings, Medicare Medicaid and possible SS cuts, and now the bombing of Iran then you are, in fact, a fascist. Those people arent gettable. Nobody wants to play nice and sing kumbaya with these people. Cenk trying to get those people is pointless. Theyre TFG. Instead we should focus on the fight and call it like we see it. If that hurts some republican fee fees then too bad.
