Idk if this person has thought this deep about it, but politicians are very aware that when fewer people vote, conservatives are almost guaranteed to win. When there are larger turnouts it’s much more likely someone left of center will get more votes. It’s not to conservatives advantage to do anything that makes more people want to vote.

Issue by issue is fine when they actually back it up like Thomas Massie did with the war powers resolution. As soon as MTG signs on I’m all for giving her credit but throwing a tantrum on twitter isn’t something I consider to being on the right side of the issue.
