I agree, I just dont see a world where people arent forced into some sort of subjugation in order to survive. Either we have jobs or we have nothing because the rich wont ever give us anything to sustain ourselves unless we pad their bottom line.

I honestly dont disagree with that take either. My feelings about it are complicated I guess. Hes fully a self-made man and thats commendable. He deserves all the success in the world. He didnt build it off the backs of others he just started something and never gave up. Theres probably a measure of jealousy in there if Im being honest with myself. I wish I had done more when I was younger to get to a better place than where I am.

You can actually check with Katrina over in Harvs island. Shell give you a vague idea of how good of friends you are with one villager/per day. Then if youre not best friends with them shell offer a blessing which adds one point to the total. I have a link somewhere of all the ins and outs of developing friendships in the game. I don’t disagree. I’ve had the thought a few times myself, especially after admitting during his appearance on PBD that he’s in the top 5% income bracket. I still love the guy and watch him everyday, but like you said, seeing him walking the walk after talking the talk would make a big difference I think.
