Todays Christian community would call him a woke leftist illegal alien and cheered ICE shipping him off to an El Salvadorian prison.

So lets give total control to the party who will increase ICE budget by billions so the President can have his own private police force and set it against progressive cities! Genius!!

This is the result of republican leaders and media demonizing Democrats as the enemy of the people.

Yes, as we are seeing republicans are far, far worse and we handed them complete control of the federal government on a silver platter. Because of this progressive causes have been set back for at the very least a generation. Thats if we are lucky and republicans and their oligarch backers havent seized permanent control.

If we wanted democrats to be able to stop it people should have got off the couch in November and gave them some power. Now we have republicans holding all branches of our federal government and democrats in the minority. Democratic groups are doing what they can in the courts. The left needs to wake up that showing up and voting, even if the candidate isnt 100% perfect, is essential if you want democrats to be empowered to do anything and not have the right empowered to take a wrecking ball to the government

How is detaining people on Gitmo solving the problem? Congress is completely controlled by Republicans the Supreme Court is controlled by Republicans and the President is a Republican. Please point me to any legislation congressional Republicans have put forward or planning on putting forward this session to actually fix our immigration system.

Republicans do disagree. And why? So they can have talking points like you just wrote. Its effective for them to continue rail on a broken system rather than fix it. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/may/23/senate-democrats-immigration-border-bill

And the DNC needs to invest in better volunteer outreach and training. I found the last few election cycles not well organized at all for volunteering compared to 2020.

A US military base off US territory which is why it was used to torture alleged terrorists. As to what do we do. How about actually reform our immigration system and hire more judges to speed up processing so we arent detaining people for long periods of time. But people like this guy would rather have his talking point

My point is in the next sentence What made people think he and his administration would just stop there? It starts with taking away womens reproductive freedoms then moves to the next item on the agenda. Whether thats marriage equality, banning birth control, LGBTQ rights (and currently the right is very obsessed with the T part of the LGBTQ community). consider it all on the table. Justice Thomas lays it out very clearly in his concurrence to the Dobbs decision.

How long until you see the fruits of his labors? Havent we seen them already with his tariffs? And you didnt answer my question, he said he would deal with rising prices on day one. What has he done so far to address it?
