There are nearly 7,000 international students at UT Austin alone. No where did I claim that every single one of them will have their visa revoked.

“The tacit approval of a race science conference at UT-Austin, alongside the large-scale defunding and muzzling of American science by a far-right regime, marks a very dark chapter of our history.” https://www.statesman.com/story/opinion/columns/your-voice/2025/03/26/university-of-texas-ut-austin-natal-conference-eugenics-opinion/82644280007/

Sure thing. Here are a few sources, but just google UT Austin visa revocations and youll have an array to choose from (and likely more up to date): https://www.kut.org/education/2025-04-09/university-of-texas-austin-international-student-visas-protest https://www.kvue.com/article/news/education/university-of-texas/ut-austin-visa-status-international-students/269-21e75475-74fd-4d9a-9f42-311807ce0b65 https://www.texastribune.org/2025/04/09/texas-universities-international-students-legal-status/

How is this fear mongering? Everything laid out in my original post is happening. And the White House press secretary openly stated that the administration is looking at its options for targeting citizens next.

So true, but it doesnt mean we cant pressure them!

My outrage is not selective. I was vehemently opposed to our war in Iraq and the generational damage and destruction that war caused. I’ve protested many of the US’s numerous foreign policy (mis)adventures that I thought were immoral and/or an ineffective use of our tax dollars.

So the only two options are 1) support mass slaughter or 2) be labeled a Hamas sympathizer?
r/
IsraelPalestine
You’ll have to explain that one. Are we not financing and supplying Israel’s war? How is making that factual statement advancing Hamas’ goals?
r/
IsraelPalestine
So you either wholeheartedly support Israel’s reckless approach to “destroying Hamas” or you’re a Hamas supporter? You can be a critic of Hamas without supporting mass civilian death.

I agree that neighboring countries should be doing more to support the Palestinians. But that’s not what this is about. I’m talking about US policy. The policy that we’re supposed to have a say in. I’m talking about the debate of whether to continue or end US government financing and supplying Israel’s actions in Gaza.
