It can have paradoxical effects. It can relax you which can activate the parasympathetic system ( rest, digest, and fuck ) and put you in the mood. A doctor I talked who specializes in sexual health told me when she gets a new patient she looks to these things as potential issues first: cannabis overuse, alcohol, a lot of body fat, avoiding intense cardio, lack of exercise, lack of stress control, and a sedentary lifestyle.
