Seriously. Sometimes I wonder if Trump himself even understands how powerful and effective his cult worship is. He could come out today strongly in favor of child marriages across the board, and his MAGA loons would instantly support it. I mean I DO think MAGA voters should suffer the consequences of their vote. Like if you voted to kick millions of Americans off health insurance, you should suffer the consequence of getting kicked off health insurance. If they voted for the team that wants to gut FEMA, gut weather warning services, gut access to rural hospitals etc, then yes they SHOULD experience the consequences of what happens when a natural disaster comes along and theres no longer adequate warning, no longer adequate federal aid to help, and no longer a hospital nearby to tend to you. If you voted for it, you should experience the consequences. Demand better of yourselves and your leaders before you direct your anger to random posters online pointing out the obvious that these are self-inflicted wounds.

Theyll still be able to report the news and report on what Trump says. They just wont be the one asking him the questions. But if they are too afraid to ask him the hard questions or push back in any meaningful way, then what does it matter? Let Trump fill the White House press corp with only sycophantic propagandists.
