Its definitely what Dexter would do before resorting to killing. Hes going to try to make Batista look like a fool chasing an unhinged conspiracy theory. But Im also sure that in typical Dexter fashion while it will work initially, Batista will persist until he does catch Dexter and hell have to come up with another way to deal with Batista, unless a third party gets rid of him conveniently.
