Unanimous nullification? No. Hung jury? Possible and imo, very likely. They will probably have to try this case multiple times, and may be forced to give up if they cant manage to find a group of 12 people who will unanimously convict. It only takes 1/12 to hang the jury. I would say, easily, more than 1 out of 12 average people sympathize with him. And that number seems to be growing over time.

I feel you. I watched this movie for the first time last week. Ive seen a lot of war movies, ww2 movies, but never made it to this one for whatever reason. But watching it in the current political climate, it hits hard. Not enough people really grasp the danger of authoritarianism or fascism today. How easily a regime could callously commit atrocities against a scapegoated population. And how few were able and willing to stand up to it. Also the tragic denial of the Jews who were displaced or sent to camps, unable to acknowledge just how much worse their plight could, and would get. Not knowing much about it other than it was about a German who saved many Jews from the camps, I was struck at how even Schindler wasnt a very good person, at least in the beginning. A shrude businessman who initially takes advantage of Jews for essentially slave labor. But over the course of the holocaust he changes into a savior. I dont think a lot of people understand that the initial plan for the Jews in Nazi Germany was to deport them out of the country.

It is, thats what age of consent means. And in most states, the age of consent is 16-17. In those relevant states, any 16 year old person can freely consent to have sex with anyone else who is at least the age of consent or older. This is different than and is often confused with Romeo and Juliet laws where minors can legally have sex with other minors or people within a close enough age range. Age of consent is not that. it is plainly the age which a person can consent to sex.

Uh yeah, like loads better. Trump first term: lost 3 million net jobs. Biden: added 16 million jobs. Democrats also didnt overturn Roe, or argue to the Supreme Court that the president should be able to commit literally any crime they want, up to and including assassinating their political opponents, as legal official acts. Both sides is the refrain of the unintelligent, weak-minded individuals who are either too lazy, too stupid, or too much of both to be bothered to parse the differences between two diametrically opposed ideologies. It doesnt take that much effort or intelligence, yet you fail to be able to do it.
