Not to come off sounding super ignorant on modern game development, but maybe its kind of crazy for games to regularly require 20-100 gig patches. Maybe they should be released in a more developed state. Also maybe foregoing disc drives is not a super great idea. Im totally against the Trump agenda and data caps, but Im also against the push for complete digitalization of the game industry, and games releasing broken beta states frequently.

If theres one thing the right is beyond exceptional at, its inventing and controlling the narrative, and making sure the base blames all their problems on democrats and/or marginalized groups. They are S-tier at that, and its what makes them thrive.

Arent we all just temporarily embarrassed millionaires, anyway? Any day now all that wealth is going to trickle down on us. Hey, its starting right now. Its trickling, its warm, yellow, and smells bad but the rich are finally trickling onto us!

The most infuriating part is that even if it does get as bad as many are saying, and I certainly agree it might turn out that badly, the fucking brainwashed rubes still wont get it. They are going to die on the hill that Trump is a god emperor adorned by Jesus even if they die poor, jobless, and without healthcare on that hill.

They wont care. 2 years from now, whether things are 10% more or 100% more, they wont care. They wont admit they were wrong. Theres never going to be a moment where they turn on the cult leader. 2024 wasnt about the price of eggs, just like 2016 wasnt about economic anxiety. Its the same excuse repackaged for people who dont want to admit they want to be ruled over by a strongman fascist.

Maybe this will unintentionally spur a golden age of single player games again. Just a single player gamer looking for a silver lining here.

I liked the sequel a lot for its horror aspects, but this is a valid critique. The entire second half of the movie being a hallucination is cheap and the first movie balanced the psychological hallucination aspect better. But I still found the acting in the sequel to be stellar and the horror aspects to be very good. Smile 2 made the hairs on my neck stand up several times which very few horror movies manage to do. Overall I thought it was very enjoyable and great horror, but the story aspect is pretty flawed.
