I think there is a growing number of people who are fed up with and done with tipping culture. Pay your servers reasonable wages and stop asking customers to subsidize your labor.

Reminder that under Trump, we lost 2.7 million net jobs, and went into a recession. It was actually the worst recorded economic record of a single presidential term of all time. Very excited for part 2.

You cultists just respond nuh-huh whenever confronted with facts and speak vaguely. Please, detail specifically what I said that you think was wrong. Are you claiming that, 1: Trump didnt pressure the fed to keep interest rates low during a hot economy where economists were in wide agreement rates needed to go up? 2: That Covid didnt cause world wide inflation increases? 3: That Trump stimulus didnt contribute to inflation (as did Bidens)? 4: That we didnt achieve a soft landing and get inflation under control under Biden? 5: That broad tariffs and lowering interest rates right now under Trump wont increase the prices of everything? You have so many specific things to choose from, but youre incapable of addressing any of these because you get your information from propagandists. Heres some bonus facts for you; Trump lost 2.7 million net jobs in his first term – the first time in recorded US history. Biden by contrast added 15+ million jobs. Which do you think was more beneficial for the middle class?

The real problem is the fact healthcare is a for-profit business and not an essential right. Insurers are financially motivated to deny claims or limit care, for profit. Your healthcare gets in the way of their ability to make obscene amounts of money. Thousands of people literally die every year because of the profit motivation of the healthcare industry, and many more go into major financial debt.

Trump drove prices up dummy. This happened during Trumps first term when he pressured the fed to keep interest rates low (even advocating for negative rates lmao) during a time where economists said failure to raise rates adequately would result in increased inflation. That coupled with Covid, and Trump/Biden stimulus, really drove up inflation in the US. Subsequently, the entire developed world experienced inflation, I suppose thats Bidens fault too, right? Biden allowed the Fed to do their job which brought us to a soft landing and reigned inflation under control, which absolutely did help the middle class and would not have happened under Trump. As we clearly see today, Trump is very interested in tariffs and lowering interest rates which will once again make everything much more expensive but comprehending that is beyond you.

Nah, thats just what republicans have convinced you of while they actually fuck over the middle class for welfare handouts to the ultra rich.

The vast majority of the people who chose this will never admit it was a mistake. Theyd sooner die out of spite than admit it.

Yeahthats been covered several times in this discussion, if it can be called that. You understand that when the cost of a good increases, that means the sell price must increase as well, right? thats where profit margins come in. Theres no made up numbers. It IS super simple and yet
