Trump was looking at prison time if he lost. Hes an extremely well-known cheat and fraudster. And a known convicted criminal/felon. No intellectually honest person can actually think he didnt try to cheat in the election by any means necessary to secure a win and avoid prison. I assumed he would simply be caught in his cheating and it would be prevented. Instead, the country just accepted that a man who had attempted insurrection, was convicted of 34 felony counts and still awaiting 3 other felony criminal trials, somehow did a thing that only one other president has ever accomplished in the history of the U.S., came back and won an election after losing previously as the incumbent. And he sweeped the swing states. Really?

This is misinformation. Under the bill, the border policies would be enforced, normally, as they always are no matter who is president. But under the bill there would be a complete and total shutdown of the border if daily encounters reached a threshold. That would mean a denial for even valid asylum seekers and other potentially legal immigrants for that day. Theres a difference between enforcing the border and shutting it down completely and cutting off all immigration. I know nuance is hard, especially on Reddit.
