Has a military parade (on leaders birthday) Publicly snubs defense secretary on important WAR matters over petty grievance over said military parade. Education has become abysmal. Though Im often reminded that humans just arent as smart and enlightened as we like to pretend we are. We are apes trying to grapple with a hyper accelerated increase in technology and not yet far removed enough from our primal lizard brains to handle it. Some humans are standouts, but the species as a whole has a lot of progression to attain. Hopefully we dont blow ourselves to smithereens before we get ourselves sorted out.

No? Why is this such a hard concept? People are just intentionally this obtuse? A fact is a demonstrably true statement. As the poster you are responding to laid out, the statement that a vaccine is safe and effective is as it relates to established safety and efficacy standards by which all vaccines are weighed against. Therefore, its a fact. You may take issue with the standards. And perhaps, a more accurate statement would be that a vaccine meets current safety and efficacy standards – but the original statement is accurate. Additionally, it is a fact that Trump was convicted of 34 felonies in court. It is an opinion that Melania hates Trump. It is a falsehood/lie to claim the Bowling Green massacre happened. I do believe that news outlets and politicians have a responsibility to get the facts right in their claims, and correct themselves when they publicly make false statements. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions; they are not entitled to their own facts.
