All of the Dutton children in Yellowstone were ready to get rid of the ranch in one way or another. They only fought for it for John’s sake.

Looks like I called it correctly. Season 2 would be about Spencer and Alexandra taking an odyssey to Bozeman, with them meeting and fighting off Whitfield’s goons in the last 1-2 episodes. Not the story I wanted, but that is okay. I’m more disappointed with many unrealistic points in the story. If I can’t get suspension of disbelief it is hard to relax into show. That prevents entertainment and an escape. Same thing happened in the later seasons of Yellowstone, which started off well. Too many unrealistic events that spoiled the story.

Then Alexandra, John’s ( Costner ) late wife, Margaret (Faith Hill),and Cara wouldn’t be true Duttons either as they also married into the family.

Fair point. I liked Monica. I thought Elsa’s death added to the series. It was done well. The story progressed with a natural feel. Many plot points this season felt glib. Alex’s death would feel that way too.

I think its Spencer that gets offed. You may be right, but I think Alexandra will be killed or taken back to England before she can reach the ranch.

Disco music is becoming popular Disco didn’t really star appearing until about 1975, so Spencer arrives home even later.
