Yeah the weight and size is worth considering, but FRP certainly is not. Im curious about the Titanium for sure I just dont think FRP is whats best used to dissuade from the Sparrow and push ur opinion. Lead w that next time.

First round pop is negligible at best, still completely hearing safe and doesnt always happen. When it does its never once thrown me off or made me like, damn I hate that. FRP is nbd and a marketing point used by competitors, pedaled by brand enthusiasts for other than SiCo products.

I’ve got the RAR, a 10/22 and a 22lr charger and I gotta say not needing another ecosystem for magazines is really nice. My primary use case is as a target plinker for my 50 yard home range and it’s great in that regard. I’m not gonna be competing, when I need to dispatch a rodent or if I were to hunt my 10/22 is the rifle I grab. The RAR is gtg as fun target plinker for me. At this point I use my 10 round mags for the RAR and play with different brands ammo to accurize and play. The 10/22 gets the 15 round mags loaded with subs and my charger chews through the 25 round mags with it’s binary super fun. Of course none of that is set in stone but works out really well for me.

Get the cheapest, and yes the takedown is mostly a useless gimmick that can detract from accuracy. I built a 22 charger with folding stock that has a much lower profile and more packable than a takedown, and that function is only used when packing it to take shooting.

Right, that looks like one ammo can’s worth, I have three cans full of 22lr. Still nothing to show off or brag about. Maybe OP is young and new to the game. I don’t see any subsonic, poor fella. edit: OP corrected me

Ruger American Rimfire Target 8367 these are so nice, I wish I would have gone that route. I ended up buying a Boyd’s Pro-Varmint stock for my RAR 8334 and really unhappy with it, it’s too fat. I did my absolute best to get Ruger to sell me the 8367 stock as a replacement but the refused because it wasn’t model I bought. I made posts trying find someone like you OP to help me buy the stock and nobody chimed in here on Reddit. Settled for the Boyd’s and it’s so damn meh.
