What the movement needs is real action, disruption, true acts of civil disobedience and more discrete actions in total opposition of the regime. There’s slew of words I won’t use as I don’t want to banned but these are the next steps, these discreet underground actions. Collaborative, secret, disruptive in total opposition to the status quo and powers that be.

NO It doesn’t need that. It needs real action; civil disobedience, general strike, BREAK THE MACHINE. Until then it’s useless, powerless and impotent. There’s no point in doing the same fucking thing repeatedly and hoping for different results. The movement needs to adapt, adjust and DISRUPT.

I agree OP. While this has been disastrous on too many levels there is a huge upside. We needed to get this far broken in order to implement the deep structural changes that absolutely now must happen in order to preserve our society and democracy writ large. The status quo, slow death by a thousand cuts has been grueling. Now in order to survive we must break it more, repair and rebuild. We need a General Strike, civil and not-so civil disobedience. We need an uprising, 1776 style as well as more direct and extreme actions. It’s gonna get much worse before we’re there, so buckle up and prepare yourselves, those you love and your communities. Learn to defend and care for another. Help each other as often as able regardless of who they voted for. In order to make this work it must be 1776, NOT 1861. Stay frosty. Nonprofits need to be funded and most funding sources are grants and donation based. Federal grants are basically completely out of the question and state grants take quite a long process and requires passing the muster with the foundations administering the grants. In other words unless there’s foundations set up with this type of support in mind, there’s very likely not many if any at all who’d consider it. Not to mention the massive numbers one would need to fund a General Strike. So then you’d need to make donation based and find beneficiaries. Where the fuck is George Soros when you need him?
