Amen, well said. Friendly reminder that the republicans spent more on anti-trans ads than anything else in the 2024 election. And the dems barely spoke of it at all. Yet your average right winger thinks the dems were shoving it down people’s throat – nope, didn’t even try. That’s just your victim complex honey — always gotta pretend to be the martyr even when you control everything.

I love the total silence from trumpy – that’s how you know you’ve got him by the short n curlies. Like AOC – how many times has trumpy answered her or even come up with a nickname? Zero. Yet we all know the names of the people in charge of the Fed and Intel now. He’s terrified of her.

As I was just telling someone in another comment, Gavin also seems like someone who listens and can change. Even if you want to be cynical about it, he would see the support from the trans community and be opportunistic about that, right? Newsome can change – I hope – there’s zero hope for trumpy changing course and wanting to literally erase trans people.

Yeah, he needs to do some learning, but as a very staunch ally – you guys/gals/whocares need as much support against trumpy as possible. Gavin’s stance is wrong, but he also seems like the kind of guy who is willing to listen and change. You’ll never, ever get that with the orange buffoon or his enablers. Even if you want to look at it through a cynical lens – his team would see support from the trans community and say, “Hey, we can use this support for our own gains.” And that’s definitely better than being eradicated on some sun-downing jackass’ whims.

Sorry, I neglected to say “ass”. Well now you know how most people feel these days, but you ended up with one that isn’t as bad as most. Go for it dude, tear down one of the only dems doing anything. Have fun. Ask the Gaza muslims in the US that voted for trump how that worked out for them. Report back to me when you’re breaking rocks right next to Gavin.
