Well put. I sometimes get irritated by bridezillas and such, even though it’s their special day. But this person seems completely reasonable, don’t blame them at for being pissed off at stepmom for being such a wench. Dad’s reaction was pathetic.

I dont understand why women even entertain the idea of staying with a creep like that. Hes not even subtle about how hes trying to isolate you and completely control you, nothing good will come of that. The fact he hid this side of himself until he thought he had you vulnerable shows his insidious nature. Men like this view women as property.

Purely devils advocate, but maybe its not that different from peeing in the shower? I mean its gross but at least they are doing it at the moment they are washing themselves so end result is still a clean person (assuming they are properly washing their ass andtoesafterwards). That being said, I cannot fathom doing it while another person is in the shower with you. You want to wash your own shit off of your foot, thats your business. Why the fuck would you subject someone else to having to wash YOUR shit off of themselves?

You learn and you grow, but you dont have to keep bad baggage with you through your journey in life. Find someone who respects you and treats you with dignity, that person is out there. You will look back on this not as lost time or a waste, but part of your history of gaining relationship experience. We almost all have bad relationships in our past that helped show us what not to accept from prospective future partners.
