Having completely ignored and not watched Disneys 1-3 / 7-9 Andor represents a proper and amazingly well produced prequel and filled in many gaps for me.

This is the only worthy prequel to the OT.

This speech is a direct parallel to the maga fascists running the US. Anyone who is not seeing it or is in denial is knowingly blind and/or apathetic. Thank you OP for calling this out so succinctly.

Always easy to spot maga in a crowd, lol

Or you can be like me and have them completely ignored. I saw OT in the theaters, knew the prequels and sequels were gonna be shit and didnt bother watching. Mostly. I mean I caught some of it but not with any joy or planning, fully hatewatched what I have seen. To me the story is now complete with Andor / R1 as the prequels to OT.

Old school OG here, I could give a frogs fatass who plays the role. Its nothing to me. Never saw the sequels or prequels only OT, Andor and R1 and whoever plays whoever that is it doesnt matter.

I suppose you may be correct there. Its hard for me to fathom being that much a follower / lemming and using the terms of our conversation; clearly NPCs. Its hard for me to imagine that but I suppose youre likely correct. I love people as individuals but as society and beings of nature we are clearly not good. Weve decimated all the non-human pre-history people of the planet. We rape the environment and murder each other for profit. The neglect and blinders seem intentional. As a whole humans are bad. At least the vast majority. Evil. Interesting conversation though. Thank you for it. Or would you say as a whole humanity is neutral and its in my eyes theyre evil?

I agree mostly with that interpretation but its still clear he never once questioned who was the authority or why / what the rebels were in opposition of. He felt righteous and was on the wrong side from where he was clearly raised. Still to not question the intent and integrity of who he chose loyalty is on him. The same parallel with gen pop of Germany during the 3rd reich or the current maga community. They are wrong and working to hurt people and consolidate power for themselves. Period. People blindly following the lead because their parents do, or their friends are still complicit in the eyes of history. If a person chooses to not question who it is they support or the reasons why or the repercussions thereof, they are complicit. Its evil, not neutral. To not question the propaganda even when theres clear evidence of it is complicity through complacency.

Yeah I’ve been debating internally about this for weeks and I’m pretty sure LE is most accurate. LN would be a standard bearer, across the board neutral whereas LE is more closer related to Lawful Good, it only takes the experience of life and those he follows that show the nature of his ethos. With different upbringing he could easily have been LG. Syril is a paladin / pawn of darkside.
