Honestly I was really thrown off by how good that seemingly untrained nerd (yet stylish) accountant could fight more than 3 seconds with trained shoot first Andor on him.

Yes, thats all very clear and understood. I still find it interesting that they used it. Its good. Its meant to throw a tangle for folks me. Its intended to invoke reflection. As well as a call to action. I like it and thought worthy bringing up.

I agree. And I still find awkward that Nemic’s final word and emphasis is Try, the antithesis of Master Yoda’s message. I still ponder it and it hasn’t settled into me yet. I’ve followed the path Yoda set forth for over 40 years.

Hes definitely inspired the next generations and set quite the tone. Amazing.

Fuuuuuck that guy. I hated that shit and made everything produced after the OT worthless to watch. Until Andor / R1. Not a friend of mine.

There’s a lot a could say in response but there’s no point being pedantic. Overall the show’s direction and actor’s work is far far better than the vast majority of Hollywood. The only reason I brought it up is the fact that OP made a post and point of it. And yeah I really have nothing to gain by pointing any of this out, and it’s clearly my arrogance that prompted a response at all. Keep training folks, be ready for the revolution and remember when a person is ready, they never need to get ready.

As an avid shooter and life long martial artist there’s a lot that I can see which could be better; grip is one, narrow stance is another (her legs are practically crossed so no real support), shoulders and arms look okay.

Yeah, nope other than their names. I’m a big Murderbot reader / fan and the show doesn’t deserve to be in the same sentence or post as Andor. Murderbot the show is pure shit, basically unwatchable.

That was this interview, he didn’t hold back or censor himself. He’s opening up and being more honest about his motivations and the experience at large.

I’m not much of a podcast listener so Duncan was new to me, after that interview I’m keenly interested.
